Chrysovalantis Anastasiou is a Ph.D. candidate at the
Department
of Computer Science of the University of
Southern California. He holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science from USC (2017) and a B.Sc. in
Computer Science from University of
Cyprus (2015). He is a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship. He is an ACM
and IEEE student member.
Chrysovalantis previously served as a SIGSPATIAL
appointed officer from 2017 until 2020.
His primary research interests include Spatial and Temporal Data Management, Big Data Analytics, and Distributed Data Platforms.
